Job Title: Data Analytics & Reporting Specialist (Power BI / Python / Azure)
Location: Remote - time zone flexibility is required
Rate: $48-$50/ hour
Duration: Through 6/30/26 - possibility of extension
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics & Reporting Specialist to support our Global Supply Chain (GSC) planning labor team for supplier field service representatives (FSR). This role focuses on building and maintaining Power BI dashboards, Python/SQL scripts, and automation solutions that enable better planning, scheduling, and operational insights. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a collaborative mindset, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities
Reporting & Analysis
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards for planning, scheduling, and labor tracking.
- Create data models and implement DAX measures for performance optimization.
Data Engineering & Automation
- Write and maintain Python and SQL scripts for data transformation and automation.
- Integrate data from Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse) and other Azure services.
Planning & Scheduling Enablement
- Support synchronization with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 (bonus).
- Contribute to workflows that improve planning and labor forecasting.
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with PMs, engineers, and UX teams to translate requirements into actionable reporting solutions.
- Assist in defining and enforcing data governance, metadata management, and data quality standards.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Explore opportunities to leverage Power Apps and agentic AI concepts for workflow automation.
- Stay current with emerging technologies in AI, automation, and data platforms.
Measurable Outcomes
- Delivery of accurate, high-performance Power BI dashboards within agreed timelines.
- Successful automation of key data workflows using Python and SQL.
- Reliable integration of data from Azure services ensuring 99% uptime and data quality compliance.
- Positive stakeholder feedback on planning and scheduling enablement solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or data engineering roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, performance optimization).
- Hands-on experience with Python and SQL for data processing and automation.
- Familiarity with Azure ecosystem (Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, OneLake).
- Understanding of planning and scheduling best practices (PMP certification a plus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data center construction planning or commissioning.
- Knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- Experience with Power Apps development.
- Exposure to machine learning, anomaly detection, or causal inference in real-time data scenarios.
- Familiarity with agentic AI concepts and intelligent agent development.
- Experience with data governance frameworks and metadata management.
