SSO Personnel are seeking to hire a Service Advisor to join the team just outside Waterford City. You’ll be working closely with the Service Manager to make sure customers get a smooth, top-quality experience from start to finish.
It’s a hands-on role, so we’re after someone who’s friendly, adaptable, and happy to get stuck in. If you’re a people person who learns quickly and enjoys a busy environment, you’ll fit right in.
What you’ll be doing:
- Welcoming customers and looking after them from drop-off to pick-up
- Turning customer issues into clear job notes for technicians
- Ordering parts and making sure everything arrives on time
- Handling invoices and payments
- Keeping customer info up to date on the system
- Keeping customers in the loop about their vehicle and any work needed
What you’ll need:
- Around 2 years’ experience in a service or aftersales role (dealership experience is a bonus)
- Ability to pick things up quickly and stay on top of things in a fast-paced setting
- Comfortable using Office 365 (Excel, Teams, etc.)
- Any experience with online fleet systems is a plus
