Survey Project Manager
Location: Denver, CO (Flexible hybrid schedule)
Compensation: $95,000–$125,000 base equivalent + Performance Bonus
About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a growing multidisciplinary firm making significant investments in its Colorado survey practice. This role is ideal for a licensed Survey Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment where they can lead client relationships, guide technical execution, and manage projects from kickoff to delivery.
You’ll oversee a diverse portfolio of surveying projects across boundary, ALTA, topographic, route, and construction, while serving as a trusted point of contact for clients, internal teams, and field crews. This is a high-visibility role with room to shape operations, project standards, and future team growth.
You’ll Do
- Manage survey projects from setup through completion, ensuring quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery
- Prepare and review ALTA, boundary, topographic, route, residential, and construction surveys
- Partner with internal survey, engineering, and design teams to execute project deliverables
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients, leading communication, coordination, and expectations
- Participate in business development efforts including proposals, bidding, and pursuit strategy
- Maintain project budgets, collections, schedules, invoicing, and profitability
- Support technical production including calculations, drafting, QA/QC, and documentation
- Collaborate across disciplines on multi-service projects throughout Colorado
What We’re Looking For
- Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (Colorado required)
- 7+ years of progressive land surveying experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, including boundary, platting, topo, and construction calculations
- Strong communication skills with ability to lead clients and cross-functional internal teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
- Strong Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) proficiency
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel short-term as needed
