VP of MEP Integration

Location: Remote

Compensation: $200,000 - $250,000 base salary + bonus + equity

About the Role

We are partnering with a rapidly growing, private equity backed manufacturing organization operating in the data center space seeking a Vice President of MEP Integration.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an entrepreneurial MEP professional who knows how to build systems, teams, and processes by not simply operating within an existing structure. The VP of MEP Integration will have significant autonomy to define the integration organization, determine resource requirements, establish processes, and build the capabilities needed to support the company's continued growth.

The scope will span the integration of mechanical skids, low voltage (LV), medium voltage (MV), busway, RPPs, and whips, with responsibility for ensuring these systems are fully integrated and ready to roll into the data hall.

The ideal candidate is a builder at heart: someone who has intentionally developed expertise in integration, understands how the pieces fit together, and is energized by the opportunity to create something scalable in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.

What You'll Do

  • Build and lead the company's MEP Integration function from the ground up, including defining the organizational structure, team composition, and resource requirements
  • Develop the systems, processes, standards, and workflows required to create a scalable integration operation
  • Provide executive-level leadership across mechanical and electrical integration activities, including LV/MV, busway, RPPs, whips, and mechanical skid integration
  • Establish integration strategies that support projects from initial planning through delivery and installation into the data hall
  • Partner closely with the executive team, project managers, engineers, manufacturing, and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration across functions
  • Develop and maintain quality, testing, commissioning, and integration standards
  • Oversee and provide technical leadership around testing and commissioning activities, including Megger testing, passivation, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) testing, and LV/MV commissioning
  • Identify gaps in current capabilities and build the people, processes, and infrastructure needed to address them
  • Establish accountability, performance expectations, and operating rhythms for the integration organization
  • Serve as a senior technical and strategic resource for complex MEP integration challenges
  • Help scale the integration function as the company continues its growth into the middle market

What We're Looking For

  • Senior-level experience leading or building MEP integration functions, preferably within data centers, mission-critical infrastructure, modular construction, manufacturing, or a related environment
  • Demonstrated experience integrating mechanical skids, LV/MV electrical systems, busway, RPPs, and whips
  • Strong understanding of LV and MV commissioning and integration
  • Hands-on familiarity with Megger testing, passivation, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) testing
  • Proven ability to architect processes, systems, and organizational structures rather than simply operate within an established function
  • Experience building and leading high-performing technical teams
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems and how mechanical and electrical components come together as an integrated system
  • Ability to operate effectively across engineering, manufacturing, project management, and executive functions
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth, private equity-backed environment
  • Ability to make decisions independently, move quickly, and build structure where it does not yet exist
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills

Why This Role Stand Out

This is an opportunity to build something from the ground up and have a direct impact on the next phase of a growing company.

Rather than stepping into a mature organization with a predetermined structure, you'll have the autonomy to determine what the integration function needs to look like, including the team, processes, resources, and operating model.

You'll work closely with senior leadership and have significant visibility across the business while helping establish an integration platform capable of supporting the company's continued growth.

For the right leader, this role offers the opportunity to trade the structure of a more established environment for greater ownership, autonomy, upside, and equity participation in a company positioned for significant growth.

The company is backed by private equity and entering the middle market, creating an environment where the impact of this role can extend well beyond day-to-day operations.
