Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid)

Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 base + Performance Incentives

About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a growing multidisciplinary firm looking to add a Project Surveyor to support a diverse portfolio of boundary, ALTA, topographic, route, and construction survey projects across Colorado.

This role is ideal for someone who brings strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. You'll support field and office operations by preparing survey documentation, performing calculations, reviewing field notes, and contributing to project delivery from research through final deliverables.

If you're looking for a role that blends technical execution with exposure to client-facing work and multi-discipline collaboration, this opportunity offers a strong path to continued growth and potential to pursue licensure.

You’ll Do

  • Support preparation and review of survey deliverables including ALTA, boundary, topo, easements, and construction staking
  • Assist with field data collection, 3D processing, and evaluation of survey field notes
  • Perform research and analysis related to boundaries, plats, easements, and land records
  • Create survey drawings, legal descriptions, and documentation using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Provide construction-related support including plan interpretation and point computation
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field survey teams
  • Manage multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy, schedules, and project requirements
  • Uphold survey standards, quality control, and safety protocols

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of professional land surveying experience
  • Strong working knowledge of survey principles, boundary analysis, and field-to-finish workflows
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Ability to interpret plans, plats, legal descriptions, and topographic data
  • Strong math, measurements, and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork across internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage workload across multiple projects and deadlines
  • LSIT/CSIT preferred; professional licensing track encouraged
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel short-term as needed
  • High school, technical education, or equivalent industry experience required

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Hands-on technical role supporting a growing regional survey practice
  • Exposure to multidisciplinary work across civil, environmental, and design teams
  • Pathway for professional development and licensure
  • Opportunity to take on increased responsibility in calculations, drafting, and project mentorship
  • Competitive benefits including health, HSA contributions, 401(k) match, insurance, and PTO
