Service Line Manager - Mechanical & Structural
Location: Dallas, TX
Compensation: $180,000–$250,000 Base + Performance Bonus
About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with an established industrial services organization seeking a senior leader to oversee and grow its Mechanical and Structural service line across the Dallas region. This role blends operational leadership, technical oversight, financial accountability, and strategic expansion within industrial and mission critical project environments.
This position is ideal for a leader who understands how to scale service capabilities, support field execution, and drive performance across mechanical installation, structural work, maintenance services, and project-based engagements. You’ll collaborate with regional leadership, project teams, and clients to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably while positioning the service line for continued growth.
You’ll Do
- Lead operational and financial performance of the Mechanical & Structural service line within the region
- Maintain responsibility for forecasting, budgeting, and margin performance
- Oversee execution of mechanical and structural projects from planning through completion
- Support estimating, proposal development, and scope reviews
- Ensure constructability alignment and resource planning
- Manage and mentor Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and field teams
- Coordinate workforce planning, deployment, and development of craft resources
- Establish and enforce safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Conduct field engagement focused on productivity, schedule adherence, and risk mitigation
- Partner with clients to maintain relationships and identify expansion opportunities
- Collaborate internally to align service delivery with broader organizational strategy
- Drive continuous improvement across workflows, processes, and execution standards
What We’re Looking For
- 12+ years of experience within industrial construction, mechanical, or structural services
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing operations or service line performance
- Background progressing through field or project leadership roles preferred
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or service engagements
- Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Familiarity with construction or job cost tracking systems
- Ability to build and lead high-performing teams
- Commitment to safety-first operational culture
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as required
