Position Summary
We’re looking for a hands-on Assembly Technician to support the assembly and build of advanced battery products. This role is ideal for someone with manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience who enjoys working with complex components in a fast-paced, team-based environment. Exposure to electrification, high-voltage systems, or battery manufacturing is a strong plus.
What You’ll Do
- Assemble products to customer specifications and internal quality standards
- Build complex mechanical and electrical components
- Identify prototyping and assembly issues and provide feedback to Engineering
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Perform preventive maintenance and support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities
- Lead efforts to develop, implement, and maintain TPM systems
- Support the MRO Planner with daily activities
- Participate in PFMEA reviews and work instruction development
- Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives (efficiency, cost reduction, etc.)
- Assist with machinery and equipment specification development
- Ensure compliance with company, state, and federal safety policies
- Support weekend and off-shift work as needed
- Complete required data entry and documentation
Qualifications
- Manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience required
- Experience with electrification assembly lines, high-voltage systems, electrical components, or battery manufacturing strongly preferred
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, and reach for extended periods
- Working knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001 preferred)
- Comfortable in a flexible, team-oriented environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint
