Maintenance Supervisor

Location: McCalla, AL

Salary: $85,000 – $95,000

Shift: 1st Shift | On-Site | Direct Position

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a direct position in McCalla, Alabama. This role is ideal for an experienced industrial maintenance professional with strong leadership, technical, and safety-focused skills.


Essential Functions of the Job

  • PLC & HMI maintenance and troubleshooting (including ladder logic)
  • Diagnose hydraulic leaks and perform preventive maintenance
  • Read and interpret advanced electrical and blueprint schematics
  • Troubleshoot integrated circuits; wire control circuits for 5, 12, 24, and 120 volts
  • Design advanced pneumatic circuits
  • Apply advanced welding skills and operate welding tools
  • Use basic shop tools including hand tools, drills, lathes, milling machines, and bridge & rail cranes
  • Perform drilling/tapping, circuit design/layout, cutting/threading pipe, and basic pneumatic troubleshooting & repair
  • Manage building maintenance (plant lighting, compressors, emergency lighting)
  • Bend conduit and pull wire; install & set up motor contractors and VFDs
  • Promote and enforce all company safety guidelines, with disciplinary action for noncompliance
  • Intervene to correct unsafe actions and conditions; conduct daily safety observations and coach employees
  • Ensure all accidents (including first aid) are reported
  • Oversee and approve hourly employee timecards


Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technical Engineering, or a related field


Required Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of Industrial Maintenance experience
  • 3–5 years of Automotive Industry experience
  • Ability to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial plants (may involve climbing, lifting, or confined spaces)
