Position Overview

We are seeking a Conveyor Engineer with strong experience in conveyor integration, commissioning, and automotive manufacturing environments. This role will support in-plant conveyor projects and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers across multiple sites.


This is a dynamic opportunity to work with a wide range of suppliers and engineering teams on advanced manufacturing systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support conveyor system integration and commissioning activities
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on project execution
  • Participate in project meetings, supplier meetings, and cross-functional discussions
  • Manage and support multiple phases of conveyor projects
  • Provide technical expertise across body shop and general assembly environments
  • Travel to various plant locations as needed
  • Support off-shift work when required based on project demands


Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of project experience in conveyor systems (7+ years preferred)
  • Strong background in conveyor technologies, including chain skid and skillet systems
  • Experience with conveyor integration and commissioning
  • Project management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Automotive manufacturing experience
  • Experience working with conveyor suppliers or integrators

  • Workload may vary depending on project phase, with potential for heavy onsite involvement
