About the Opportunity
Reliance One is seeking a detail-oriented Transportation Analyst to support warehouse and logistics operations for a leading organization in Medley, Florida. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain operations who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while ensuring efficiency and accuracy throughout the distribution process.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily warehousing activities for incoming and outgoing goods.
- Ensure packing, storage, replenishment, picking, loading, and dispatch operations are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
- Maintain complete and accurate inventory and transaction records within the SAP ERP system.
- Inspect incoming goods to verify quality and compliance before storage.
- Coordinate and maintain daily communication with suppliers.
- Participate in routine inventory control and cycle count activities.
- Monitor warehouse processes and recommend improvements to increase operational efficiency.
- Support logistics and supply chain initiatives while maintaining compliance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure adherence to company safety standards, policies, and code of conduct.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehousing, transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Experience working with SAP ERP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory and operational records.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with inventory control and warehouse management processes.
- Background in transportation or supply chain analytics.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting.
- Experience supporting quality assurance initiatives.
- Knowledge of supplier relationship management best practices.
