RESRG Automotive is seeking you to join our team as a Tax Manager in our Troy, MI facility!
Your Job
The Tax Manager will play a key role in managing and reviewing U.S. and international tax compliance, preparing tax forecasts, supporting tax accounting processes, and driving continuous improvement across the tax function. This role includes hands-on preparation and review responsibilities, oversight of external tax advisors, and collaboration with finance and accounting teams
What you Will do in Your Role
· Prepare or review U.S. federal and state income tax forecasts for partnerships and corporations
· Oversee U.S. and foreign income tax compliance processes in coordination with external service providers
· Manage compliance calendar, ensuring timely and accurate filings, estimates, and extensions
· Review and support quarterly and annual foreign tax provision and provision-to-return processes
· Prepare and maintain cash tax forecasts and support global tax forecasting process
· Support preparation of income tax disclosures for financial statements
· Monitor transfer pricing calculations and intercompany transactions; support true-ups
· Partner with external advisors, auditors, and internal business partners
· Lead process and system improvements
· Support with indirect taxes
· Support tax research and documentation for internal and external reporting
· Participate in special projects, including technology enhancements and M&A activity
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
· Minimum of 5 years of corporate tax or public accounting tax experience
· Understanding of partnership and corporate taxation
· Experience with foreign reporting and ASC 740 tax provisions
· Experience with technology systems
What Will Put You Ahead
· CPA or Master’s in Tax preferred
· Experience in the automotive industry or manufacturing environment
· Knowledge of OneStream, OneSource and SAP preferred
