Reliance One, Inc. is hiring for one of our clients in San Antonio, TX! We are seeking a Quality Seibi Technician to support quality confirmation and tooling activities for a new model launch. This position is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong digital engineering experience who wants to make an impact in the automotive industry.

What You’ll Do as a Quality Seibi Technician

• Check/confirm body weld jigs, tools, pallets, parts, and assemblies to meet quality targets/KPIs for new model launch.
• Prepare, troubleshoot, and confirm new tooling/equipment, parts, and sub-assemblies at various tool/equipment vendors.
• Support weld and tool quality confirmation activities at NAMCs from installation through SOP.
• Create detailed Quality Seibi daily plans, Project Task Reports, and Problem Follow Sheets.
• Track activity status and coordinate Safety communications (JSA, CMs/remedies to unsafe conditions, & safety audits).
• Provide daily/weekly verbal and written updates to the Quality Seibi Project Leader, BAC, and Seibi Management.

Qualifications for the Quality Seibi Technician

• High school diploma or higher college degree.
• Proficient in Digital Engineering (DE) tools related to design/engineering (CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, Polyworks, AutoCAD).
• Ability to review and interpret part/machine/tool/equipment drawings in 2D/3D.
• Proficiency with quality measurement tools and techniques.

Added Bonus

• Associate degree or higher in a technical field.
• Automotive body dimensional quality experience.
• Basic robot teaching knowledge.
• Experience mentoring/training.
• Proficiency in DE tools related to body weld metrology/dimensional measurement (CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, Polyworks, AutoCAD).
