MOBILE DEVELOPER

Android Developer (Kotlin) & iOS Developer (Swift)

Fully Remote | 6-Month Contract | Full-Time Hours

$50–$60 per hour | Benefits Begin Day 1

Must work EST or CST time zone

Reliance One is seeking two Mobile Developers to support a growing development team:

• 1 Android Developer (Kotlin)
• 1 iOS Developer (Swift)

These are fully remote, 6-month contract opportunities where you will help design, develop, and support scalable mobile applications while collaborating with a cross-functional Agile team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support software solutions aligned with project and corporate standards
• Translate user stories into clean, maintainable, and reliable code
• Deliver individual tasks and contribute components to larger projects with minimal oversight
• Analyze, debug, and work effectively within large codebases
• Understand and evolve existing designs and technology choices
• Create and maintain unit and integration tests; collaborate with QA on test planning
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, reviews, and demos
• Resolve system issues and recommend improvements
• Support production applications, including rotational after-hours on-call support
• Conduct technical research, proof-of-concepts, and present findings to senior engineers
• Develop subject-matter expertise in one or more technologies
• Understand architectural direction and break down business problems into scalable technical solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• Must be open to a 6-month contract
• Must be willing to work EST or CST hours

Technical Skills

• iOS: Swift OR Android: Kotlin
• Node.js
• REST APIs and microservices
• Azure cloud platform (or AWS/GCP equivalent)
