Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift

Overview:
Reliance One, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a 2nd-shift position focused on maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of production equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable troubleshooting and repairing production systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold food safety standards and work safely in an organized manner.
- Repair and maintain production machinery, equipment, utilities, physical plant, and grounds.
- Troubleshoot and repair plant production systems, sanitary pumps, and valves.
- Maintain and repair 24vdc control circuits.
- Complete assigned projects in a timely manner.
- Safely lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Chemical Safety Procedures.
- Perform all duties necessary to ensure safe and high-quality production.
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Plant Managers to meet annual goals and complete special projects.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Knowledge of P&ID drawings and the ability to use them for troubleshooting.
- Ability to troubleshoot digital and analog instrumentation and process valving.
- Experience with 24vdc control circuits and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Experience with high-pressure boiler systems, wastewater treatment, or ammonia refrigeration is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computer-based equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
