$33–$38 per hour CAD

Reliance One, Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Technician to support new model launch projects and ensure all quality standards are consistently met. This role is a hands-on opportunity to work with advanced tooling, equipment, and dimensional accuracy systems to support production excellence.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Check and confirm body weld equipment, tools, pallets, parts, and assemblies to meet quality targets/KPIs for new model launches.
  • Prepare, troubleshoot, and validate new tooling/equipment, parts, and sub-assemblies at various tool/equipment vendors. Support weld and tool quality confirmation activities at production facilities from installation through handover.
  • Create detailed daily work plans, Project Task Reports, and Problem Follow Sheets. Track activity status, coordinate safety communications (JSA, CMs, safety audits), and provide regular updates to Project Leaders and Seibi Management.
  • Provide clear written and verbal communication with Quality Seibi team members, management, and external groups regarding dimensional information and issue resolution.
  • Gather and manage part information from Digital Engineering systems and drawings. Analyze part and sub-assembly dimensional data and feed results back to Project Leaders and Seibi Management.
  • Perform equipment/tool/part confirmation using Portable CMMs (FARO Arm, FARO Laser Tracker, Leica, etc.), check fixtures, weld tooling measurements, and part fitting activities.


Who We’re Looking For

The Quality Technician will pro-actively support new model Quality Seibi project activities across U.S., Canadian, and Mexican NAMCs and tool vendors. Responsibilities include preparing daily work plans, leading dimensional problem-solving, supporting Kaizens, ensuring team safety, adhering to standardized work, and managing/reporting part and measurement data.


What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • High school diploma or higher education degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Mechanical proficiency in auto repair (general automotive) and tool maintenance.


What You May Bring

  • Associate’s degree or higher in a technical field.
  • Automotive body quality experience.
  • Skilled in gathering and analyzing quality-related part/jig/CMM data.
  • Proficiency with Digital Engineering tools such as CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, PolyWorks, AutoCAD, CMM, PCDMIS.
  • Manufacturing metrology experience.
