Now Hiring: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Jackson, Tennessee (On-site)

Pay: $45–$50/hr

Reliance One is looking for one of our clients to add a Manufacturing Engineer to their team. This is your chance to lead large-scale, high-impact powertrain projects and work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

Manage Projects

• Prepare for production of Client's casting products: aluminum cylinder blocks, HYBRID transmission cases/housings.
• Support BEV STEP 3 development: e-Axle case, housing, suspension member (SOP ~2027).
• Oversee 12–24 month projects from planning, budgeting, and procurement to installation and trials.
• Manage budgets from $5M–$45M.

Manage Processes

• Study TMC-based processes and create NA-specific “Operation Drawings.”
• Support shikumi development and hoshin (goal-setting) objectives.

Resolve Problems

• Build/manage daily project “Punchlists.”

Lead Teams

• Oversee pre-production teams, schedule meetings, coordinate with contractors, and gain consensus on materials and installations.

What You Bring

• Education: BS+ in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical, Electrical) or equivalent experience.
• Experience:
• 3+ years in production prep/manufacturing.
• 1+ years managing major model changes (equipment, tooling, fixtures, transfers).
• 1+ years as a project leader with cross-functional coordination and milestone management.
