IT Service Desk Technician – Euclid, OH

Pay: $25–$30/hour

Type: Contract to Direct

Schedule: Full-time

Position Summary

We are seeking an IT Service Desk Technician to provide deployment, administration, and support of corporate IT solutions for our office and manufacturing operations in Euclid, OH. This role serves as the primary point of contact for IT support across staff, collaborating regularly with the corporate IT infrastructure team. Key technologies include Microsoft Windows, WAN/LAN/WLAN, SharePoint, M365, VoIP telephony, ERP, and CAD/CAM software.


Note: Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders. TN Visas OK. H-1B Visa sponsorship is not available.


Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Build, deploy, and support Windows workstations (laptops, desktops, engineering workstations) and occasional server administration.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals via RMM, email, phone, and in-person support.
  • Administer corporate M365 applications including SharePoint Online, Teams, Zoom, and CAD/CAM solutions.
  • Administer and audit NTFS file permissions according to company policy.
  • Onboard and train new users.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain IT procedures to support infrastructure and business requirements.
  • Provide support during standard business hours (no after-hours requirements).
  • Assist with basic ERP support, such as password resets and printing troubleshooting.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Technical certifications are a plus (A+, Network+, CCNA, ITIL Foundation).
  • 2–4 years of relevant IT experience.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Online, and Windows security implementation.
  • Experience with automated OS deployments (SCCM, SmartDeploy).
  • MDM management experience (Intune, JAMF) is a plus.
  • Disk encryption knowledge, including BitLocker.
  • Experience with inventory management via a CMDB is a plus.
  • Troubleshooting skills: DNS, DHCP, AD Group Policy, TCP/IP, log analysis.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment and operational technology (OT) is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Competencies: Customer Orientation, Analytical Thinking, Decision Making, Communication, Teamwork, Integrity, Planning.
  • Familiarity with legacy systems (Windows 7, NT, XP).
  • Ability to troubleshoot shop floor technology.


Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Work in both office and manufacturing production areas.
  • Ability to carry up to 35 lbs and work in wiring closets, production areas, and elevated locations using required PPE.
  • Ability to climb ladders and perform occasional physical tasks for equipment installation or troubleshooting.
