Reliance One, Inc. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support one of our trusted Clients in a manufacturing operation in a unionized environment. This position plays a key role in labor relations, employee engagement, compliance, performance management, and HR strategy development while partnering closely with plant leadership to support operational success.


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide mentorship, guidance, and leadership to HR team members

• Serve as the primary HR contact for plant leadership and union representatives

• Administer and interpret collective bargaining agreements (CBAs)

• Manage grievances, arbitrations, and contract negotiations

• Advise leadership on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions

• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives to support staffing goals

• Coach managers on performance management and employee development

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws including OSHA, FMLA, ADA, and EEO

• Analyze HR metrics and develop action plans to improve workforce engagement and performance

• Manage training and development initiatives

• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

• Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives

• Oversee performance review processes and development planning


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required

• Master’s degree or HR certification preferred

• 5+ years of HR leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Strong labor relations and union environment experience required

• Proven negotiation experience and ability to manage complex employee relations matters

• Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills

• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
