Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Work for an equipment manufacturer assembling robots at a robotic work cell station according to customer specifications.
• Robots are used in applications such as paint systems, body shop (welding), pick-and-place, and automation assembly.
• Build robots according to blueprints and customer specifications, including assembling the robot(s), controller, and various hardware components.
• Work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Experience as a mechanic or technician with mechanical assembly, electrical wiring & power systems, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with using and setting up torque wrenches and other mechanical hand tools.
• Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Knowledge of electrical components and electrical theory.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work independently.
• Physical stamina, strength, and ability to handle heavy equipment.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
