Position Summary
We are seeking an Electrical Product Engineer to support new product development from concept through production. This role blends hands-on design, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality engineered solutions.
Product Development & Design
- Lead new product development efforts, including research, prototyping, and design validation
- Perform breadboarding, troubleshooting, and testing of new designs
- Define and document testing parameters and improve prototype testing processes
Electrical & CAD Design
- Develop electrical schematics and perform PCB layout using eCAD tools
- Create and manage component libraries and new part designs
- Generate manufacturing documentation, including BOMs and SMT placement files
- Support basic 3D mechanical assemblies (mCAD) as needed
Project & Production Support
- Provide technical documentation, drawings, and specifications for manufacturing and assembly
- Support production, test equipment, and sales teams with technical expertise
- Participate in project planning, timelines, and cross-functional coordination
Team Collaboration
- Contribute to engineering and cross-functional team meetings
- Provide technical support to internal teams and customers
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in product design or new product development
- Understanding of installation environments and real-world product applications
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment
- Knowledge of engineering design principles, including schematics, blueprints, and modeling
