A full-time Associate Attorney position is available in the field of civil litigation, with a focus on Automobile and Premises Liability matters. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with 2–10 years of experience handling these case types—preferably on the defense side—who are eager to tackle complex legal challenges.

Position Summary

The role offers a dynamic mix of independent case handling and collaborative teamwork. You will:

• Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Develop case strategies through collaboration with clients, experts, and colleagues.
• Maintain regular written and verbal communication with clients regarding case status.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda to support litigation positions.
• Work closely with senior attorneys to ensure effective case management.

Key Qualifications



• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active admission to the New York State Bar.
• 2–10 years of experience in Automobile and Premises Liability litigation (defense experience preferred).
• Strong advocacy skills with proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
• Ability to respond to discovery requests and manage all aspects of discovery.
• Experience taking and defending depositions (fact and expert witnesses).
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage cases independently while collaborating effectively.
