Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department
Schedule: Full-Time 12-hour Day Shifts

Emergency Department RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, timely, and high-quality emergency nursing care for patients across the lifespan
- Perform rapid triage, assessment, stabilization, and continuous monitoring of emergency patients
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments per physician orders and protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams during emergency interventions and patient transitions
- Prepare and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Emergency Department
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Adhere to infection prevention, isolation, and safety protocols
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and hospital policy
- Support patient admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Attend required staff meetings and continuing education
- Float to other units or locations as needed to support patient care and staffing needs
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Emergency Department RN Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required, BSN preferred
- Active and unrestricted Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license required
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience in Emergency Department, ICU, Telemetry, or related acute care setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required
- PALS strongly preferred, ENPC may be accepted in place of PALS
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
