Registered Nurse (RN) – Intermediate Care Unit (IMC)

Schedule: Full-Time 12-hour Day shifts

IMC RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care for mixed acuity patients
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuous monitoring
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and changes in patient condition
• Coordinate care with physicians, case management, and interdisciplinary teams
• Perform admission, transfer, and discharge processes
• Collect laboratory specimens and perform testing in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols

Additional Responsibilities

• Participate in quality assessment and quality improvement activities
• Attend staff meetings and required education sessions
• Float to alternate units or locations as requested to support operational needs
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required, BSN preferred
• Active and unrestricted Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license required
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience in IMC, ICU, Telemetry, or related acute care setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
