Job Summary

Harvest Talent Solutions has an excellent direct placement opportunity for a Cybersecurity Analyst in Oklahoma City. This role is ideal for a Network or Systems Administrator who has gained hands-on exposure to cybersecurity and is ready to take the next step.

In this position, you will support the protection, detection, and response to cyber threats across infrastructure, systems, and networks. You will work closely with security leadership to strengthen the organization’s overall security posture while continuing to build your expertise in cybersecurity.

Employment Type: Full Time

Shift: Monday – Friday, standard business hours with occasional after-hours support

Location: Onsite – Downtown Oklahoma City

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience and technical background

Essential Job Functions

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts and events
• Administer and support network security technologies, including firewalls and segmentation
• Implement and manage firewall rules, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and maintain secure configurations
• Support endpoint protection platforms, including anti-malware and threat detection tools
• Monitor vulnerability management systems and assist with remediation efforts
• Assist with identity and access management systems and processes
• Implement and support secure connectivity solutions, including VPN and encryption technologies
• Troubleshoot network, system, and security-related issues across the environment
• Conduct threat research and recommend improvements to security practices
• Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and process flows
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to improve system security and performance

Other Job Functions

• Participate in security and infrastructure-related projects
• Assist with audits, compliance efforts, and internal security reviews
• Provide input on system and network design from a security perspective
• Occasional in-state travel as needed
• Participate in after-hours support for critical incidents or maintenance
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3 to 6+ years of experience in Network Administration, Systems Administration, or related IT roles
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments and TCP/IP networking
• Experience working with firewalls and network security concepts
• Exposure to cybersecurity tools or responsibilities in a professional environment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cisco and/or Palo Alto firewalls
• Familiarity with routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, or EIGRP
• Experience with VPN technologies, including IPSEC
• Exposure to VMware environments
• Working knowledge of Linux systems
• Experience with SQL databases and web applications
