Summary of Responsibilities 

As our Traveling Flooring Specialist, you will install, repair, and maintain flooring systems across active renovation and construction sites. You’ll work closely with field leadership and other trades to keep projects moving efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and finish quality. This is an ideal role for someone who values independence, travel, and consistent year-round opportunities. 

Essential Functions 

• Install tile, hardwood, laminate, LVP, and other flooring materials 
• Prepare surfaces, level subfloors, and complete finish work 
• Repair or replace damaged flooring as needed 
• Read blueprints and job plans 
• Coordinate with plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and labor crews 
• Ensure work meets quality and safety standards 
• Travel to assigned project sites throughout the U.S. and Caribbean 
• Support project timelines and team success 

Education, Experience, and Skills Required 

• 3+ years of flooring installation experience preferred 
• Experience with tile, hardwood, laminate, LVP, or related flooring systems 
• Commercial or renovation experience a plus 
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship 
• Reliable, punctual, and professional 
• Comfortable with travel-based schedules 
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude 
• Respectful in diverse and inclusive environments 

Compensation  

• $60,000-65,000 a year depending on experience 
• KPI / performance bonus potential

• Typical rotation: 2 weeks on / 1 week off or 3 weeks on / 2 weeks off
