Summary of Responsibilities 


As our Project Engineer, you will support high-end residential construction projects by managing documentation, coordinating with teams, and ensuring accurate information flow from pre-construction through completion. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and trade partners to stay organized, track progress, and proactively address issues impacting schedule, cost, and quality. This role is ideal for someone accountable, detail-oriented, and adaptable who takes ownership and thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. 


Essential Functions 

 

  • Maintain organized project documentation across shared drives and CoConstruct  
  • Coordinate daily with Project Managers on logs, time tracking, and updates  
  • Prepare project records for handoff from pre-construction to production  
  • Track project progress, including site photos and key details  
  • Manage client and project communications within systems  
  • Support permitting documentation and status tracking  
  • Maintain SOPs, workflows, and process documentation  
  • Track materials, long-lead items, and trade partner schedules  
  • Support change orders, purchase orders, and cost tracking  
  • Ensure trade partner contracts, insurance, and documentation are current 


Education, Experience, and Skills Required 

 

  • 5+ years’ experience in Construction Project Engineering  
  • Bachelors degree required, Civil Engineering or Architecture 
  • Technologically Savvy (Co-construct/Job tread preferred)
