Summary of Responsibilities 

We are looking for a Construction Site Manager to take full ownership of residential remodeling projects. You will be on-site 80% of the time, managing trades, ensuring quality control, keeping projects on schedule and on budget, and being the primary point of contact for homeowners. You will work independently, out of your vehicle, with full accountability for project outcomes. 


Essential Functions 

  • Manage the job site daily – Direct carpenters, laborers, and trade partners. Ensure work is done safely, correctly, and on time. 
  • Be the client's trusted point of contact – Lead weekly homeowner meetings, answer design questions, write change orders, and manage expectations with clarity and care. 
  • Maintain schedule and budget – Update project plans in our PM software, track progress, and hit your milestones. You own the outcome. 
  • Conduct quality control – Inspect all work after trades. Verify that healthy home standards (air filtration, low-VOC materials, etc.) are met. 
  • Plan materials and two-week activity plans – Anticipate needs, coordinate deliveries, and keep projects moving without delays. 
  • Keep the site clean and secure – Ensure daily cleanup, dust protection, and site security. Lead by example. 
  • Communicate constantly – Provide daily job logs, status updates, and completion percentages to the Production Manager. Attend weekly production meetings. 

 

Education, Experience, and Skills Required 

  • 5+ years of general construction experience - residential remodeling experience required 
  • A Hands-on leader – Can direct trades with respect and authority, willing to help 
  • Comfortable with PM software, Bluebeam, MS Suite 
  • Proven track record of completing projects on time and on budget, with high customer satisfaction ratings and clean project documentation. 
  • Self-starter and quick learner - Thrives without micromanagement 
  • Reliable – On time, follows through, communicates clearly 
  • Mission-driven – Cares about healthy homes and green building 
  • Great communication skills.  


Compensation  

  • Pay: $90,000-$110,000 per year
  • Medical: 85% coverage (dental, vision included) 
  • 401K: 4% company match 
  • PTO: 2 weeks first year, increases with tenure 
  • Vehicle: Company vehicle after probation; mileage reimbursement initially 
  • Equipment: iPad/laptop provided 
  • Tool allowance & paid holidays included
