Summary of Responsibilities 

As our Low Voltage Systems Estimator, you will be the critical link between client vision and successful execution. You will lead the design and pricing of integrated solutions, transforming project requirements into accurate, competitive proposals that win business and set our installation teams up for success. 


Essential Functions 

  • Design & Scope Development: Lead technical design for integrated low-voltage systems (Security, AV, Data) through client consultations and plan reviews. 
  • Accurate Proposal Creation: Prepare winning bids by performing material/labor take-offs, sourcing vendor quotes, and applying labor standards. 
  • Pre-Construction Leadership: Identify plan ambiguities (RFIs), communicate with clients/contractors, and provide clear documentation for seamless project handoff. 
  • Process Improvement: Organize project documents and contribute to refining estimating tools and best practices. 


What You Bring (Requirements) 

  • Experience: 3+ years in low-voltage systems (Security, AV, and/or Data Networking) with 2+ years in estimating or technical design for commercial projects. 
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Ability to read and interpret architectural and low-voltage drawings. 
  • Core Competencies: Excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of low-voltage system design and integration. 
  • Education/Certs: High school diploma or equivalent required. A plus: BICSI RCDD, AVIXA CTS, or manufacturer-specific certifications. 


Compensation 

  • Salary: $35.00 - $45.00/hour (~$72,800 - $93,600+/year), based on experience. 
  • Incentive: Eligible for commission on closed projects.
