Summary of Responsibilities 


As a Traveling HVAC Technician, you will install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems across active renovation and construction sites both nationally and internationally. You’ll work closely with field leadership and other trades to keep projects moving efficiently while upholding high standards of workmanship and safety. This job is built for people who want to work, travel, and make real money without being stuck in one place. Essential Functions 

 

  • Install HVAC systems in accordance with plans, specifications, and codes  
  • Diagnose system issues and perform timely, effective repairs  
  • Perform routine maintenance and preventative inspections  
  • Test and verify system performance, efficiency, and functionality  
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and scope documents  
  • Coordinate with field leadership and other trades on active job sites  
  • Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation  
  • Follow and enforce job site safety standards and protocols  
  • Communicate clearly on project status, challenges, and needs  
  • Travel to domestic and international job sites and adapt to varying environments 

 

Education, Experience, and Skills Required 


  • HVAC certification required (EPA Certification strongly preferred or required)  
  • 2–5+ years of hands-on HVAC installation, service, and repair experience 
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents 

 

Compensation  


  • $75,000-$85,000 
  • KPI / performance bonus potential

  • Typical rotation: 2 weeks on / 1 week off
