Tax Director - Corient (wealth management)

Location: Shaker Heights. OH

Compensation - $150,000-$240,000 + bonus and rich benefits package

Do you genuinely enjoy engaging with clients – not just reviewing returns behind the scenes? Do you seek a clear, realistic path to partnership – not an empty promise? Are you ready to lead client meetings, build multi-generational relationships, and maintain a life outside of busy season?

If you answered yes, let's talk.

We are seeking a Tax Director to step into a retiring partner's practice. This role offers genuine work-life balance, meaningful leadership, and a tangible path to partnership.

About Us

Corient is one of the fastest-growing wealth management platforms in the United States. We serve more than 10,000 clients and manage over 100 billion in assets – and after recent acquisition in Europe, we are on track to become the world’s largest non-banking wealth manager with over 400 billion in assets under management.

But don't let the size fool you. Our Shaker Heights office has been serving families since 1996. We're a tight-knit team of 25-28 people who genuinely like each other – we do happy hours, Thanksgiving potlucks, and even cooking classes together. We're relaxed when it's slow, we work hard when it's busy, and no one is looking over your shoulder.

Now, as part of Corient, we offer the best of both worlds: the collaborative, non-stuffy feel of a small office, backed by the resources, stability, and growth trajectory of a global industry leader.
