Summary of Responsibilities 


As a Structural Engineer, you will oversee structural integrity, planning, and compliance across active renovation and construction projects. You’ll review plans, support permitting, and work with project teams to ensure safe, efficient, code-compliant execution. This role includes travel to domestic and international project sites and is ideal for someone detail-oriented, technically strong, and confident in both design and field conditions. 


Essential Functions 

 

  • Review and develop structural plans and calculations  
  • Ensure designs meet applicable codes and regulations  
  • Perform structural assessments for renovations and new construction  
  • Support permitting, including plan submittals and revisions  
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and field teams  
  • Provide technical guidance to resolve structural challenges  
  • Conduct site visits to verify conditions and compliance  
  • Identify risks and constructability concerns in plans  
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports  
  • Travel to domestic and international project sites as needed 

 

Education, Experience, and Skills Required 


  • 5+ years’ experience in Structural Engineering 
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required  
  • Experience with structural design for construction and/or renovation projects  
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software  
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and permitting processes 

 

Compensation  


  • $100,000-$130,000

  • Typical rotation: 2 weeks on / 1 week off
