Countertop Installation Technician
Location: On site in Indianapolis, IN
A growing interior finishes organization is adding a skilled Countertop Installer to support residential and commercial projects across the Indianapolis market. You will play an important role in delivering polished finished spaces by bringing precision, care, and professionalism to every installation.
What You Will Do
- Review jobsite conditions, confirm dimensions, and prepare for successful countertop installation work
- Transport, position, and install countertop materials with close attention to fit, leveling, seam quality, and finished appearance
- Use hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment to trim, shape, secure, and finish materials accurately
- Complete cutouts and adjustments as needed for sinks, fixtures, appliances, and other field conditions
- Apply adhesives, fasteners, sealants, and support methods in line with project requirements and material needs
- Work closely with team members, trade partners, and customers to keep jobs moving efficiently and professionally
- Inspect completed work, address punch list items, and leave each workspace clean, organized, and ready for use
- Follow safe material handling practices and jobsite procedures at all times
What You Bring
- Previous experience in countertop installation, finish carpentry, cabinetry, millwork, flooring, or related installation work
- Comfort reading field measurements, installation details, and basic construction documents
- Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence using common jobsite tools and equipment
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials with care and attention to safety
- Detail orientation, steady workmanship, and a commitment to high quality results
- Professional communication skills and a customer focused mindset on site
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally to project locations as needed
