Deployment Solutions Engineer
Location: Hybrid in Denver, CO
A fast-growing industrial technology innovator is expanding its field engineering team and looking for a Deployment Solutions Engineer to help bring advanced automation and vision-based solutions into live manufacturing environments. This is a high impact role for someone who enjoys being close to the action, solving technical challenges on the plant floor, and partnering with customers to turn complex deployment plans into measurable operational results. You will play a visible role in scaling next generation systems that improve throughput, quality, and reliability across production operations.
What You Will Do
In this role, you will serve as a key technical resource for customer deployments from pre-launch preparation through production readiness. You will work hands on with hardware, plant systems, and cross functional stakeholders to install, test, optimize, and support connected solutions in active industrial settings. The position blends field execution, customer partnership, troubleshooting, and internal collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead rollout of smart inspection and automation solutions at customer manufacturing sites
- Set up and fine tune cameras, lighting, edge devices, and plant floor connectivity
- Partner with plant leaders, controls teams, and internal engineers to prepare launches
- Diagnose system, network, and hardware issues in active production settings
- Support commissioning, validation, and readiness activities before operational handoff
- Capture field feedback, validation notes, and operating procedures to support scale
- Support collection of production data used to strengthen model performance
- Train site contacts on day-to-day use, escalation paths, and deployment readiness
- Communicate project updates, risks, and technical findings with customer and internal teams
- Travel to customer locations across North America, about 50 percent
What You Bring
- Degree in engineering, industrial technology, systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands on experience
- Experience with field deployment, commissioning, integration, or technical implementation in industrial environments
- Hands on ability to install, configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot hardware in production settings
- Confidence working independently at customer sites and managing competing priorities
- Strong communication skills with operators, plant leadership, and cross-functional engineering teams
- Ability to solve technical issues involving hardware, connectivity, and system performance in live environments
- Willingness to travel regularly across the United States and Canada
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to machine vision, industrial cameras, optics, or lighting systems
- Familiarity with PLCs, industrial controls, sensors, or plant networking
- Comfort with Linux based systems, edge computing devices, or similar platforms
- Experience supporting AI enabled products, validation workflows, or data capture initiatives
- Background in manufacturing sectors such as food and beverage, consumer products, automotive, packaging, or similar
- Success in fast paced, growth oriented technical environments
