Construction Administration Coordinator

A well-established organization in the construction services sector is seeking a Construction Administration Coordinator to support on site operations in Fairbanks. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to fast moving project environments, keeping teams aligned, and helping both field and office personnel stay ahead of deadlines. The person in this role will play an important part in maintaining documentation accuracy, supporting daily coordination, and helping projects move forward efficiently.
What You Will Do
- Provide administrative support for ongoing construction and project activity
- Organize and maintain project records, correspondence, and digital files
- Track submittals, logs, and documentation within internal and cloud based systems
- Coordinate meetings, capture key discussion points, and circulate follow-up notes
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, forms, and other routine business documents
- Assist with office workflows tied to timekeeping, billing support, and general project administration
- Respond to incoming calls and visitors professionally, routing requests to the appropriate team members
- Work closely with project and office teams to help keep communication and documentation moving smoothly
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Support additional administrative and coordination needs as assigned
What You Bring
- At least 3 years of related administrative, professional, or office experience
- Construction industry experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills, time management, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office applications, and construction document management software
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross functional teams
- High school diploma or GED required
- Business administration or related education preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
