Account Lead Oil/Gas
Location: On-site in Bellingham, WA

Focus
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts and oversee the successful execution of complex projects and initiatives.
- Guide account strategy, commercial performance, and client retention across a multi project portfolio
- Oversee concurrent client engagements to promote consistency, responsiveness, and positive business outcomes.
- Monitor scope, schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction metrics across assigned work
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to pursue new opportunities and contribute to client development initiatives.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and strong relationship management.
- Support project teams in developing clear plans, defining objectives, and establishing achievable project parameters.
- Escalate major risks, resource concerns, or delivery issues to senior leadership when needed
- Promote disciplined change management and strong commercial protection throughout the project lifecycle
- Encourage continuous improvement, lessons learned, and standardized reporting practices
- Support the growth and development of team members through coaching, guidance, and knowledge sharing.
- Maintain a hands-on presence in project execution, including direct billable contribution where appropriate
Skill Set
- Degree in engineering, technology, or a similar discipline, or a combination of education and relevant industry experience.
- Seven or more years of relevant professional experience in a technical, operational, or project-focused environment.
- Five or more years leading projects, programs, or client accounts in a technical services setting
- Background in oil and gas, industrial, energy, or closely related project environments
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement and service excellence.
- Experience tracking business performance, managing operational metrics, and supporting strategic planning efforts.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership experience guiding teams, driving collaboration, and supporting successful project outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to assess situations, identify solutions, and drive successful outcomes in dynamic environments.
- Professional Engineer license is valued but not required
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel to office locations and client sites as needed, potentially up to 50 percent
- Comfort working in office, field, and client facing environments
- Ability to safely visit project and industrial sites when required
