Project Coordinator, Electrical Construction Projects (Water and Wastewater Infrastructure)

Location: On-site in Phoenix, AZ


Our client is growing its project support team in Phoenix to help deliver essential electrical work tied to water and wastewater infrastructure improvements across the region. This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented construction professional who enjoys keeping moving parts organized, partnering with field and office teams, and building toward a long-term path in project management. The role offers exposure to complex infrastructure work, close collaboration with experienced project leaders, and the chance to contribute to high impact projects that support critical community systems.

Focus

  • Manage project documentation, procurement records, supplier deliverables, and construction tracking materials for ongoing power infrastructure projects.
  • Partner with project managers and field teams to keep drawings, specifications, and material information accurate and accessible
  • Assist with change documentation, progress tracking, and day-to-day administrative follow through across multiple job phases
  • Read construction drawings and technical specifications and help translate them into organized project action items


Skill Set

  • Background supporting electrical construction projects is strongly preferred. Experience with industrial, utility, infrastructure, or water/wastewater projects is highly valued.
  • Comfort working on site in Phoenix and collaborating closely with office and field personnel
  • This role calls for a highly structured professional who can oversee documentation processes and efficiently manage shifting project needs.
  • Ideal backgrounds include Project Engineers, Project Coordinators, Assistant Project Managers, and other construction professionals seeking a path toward Project Management.
  • This position is well suited for someone who wants to build toward an assistant project manager or project manager career path
