Electrical General Foreman

A respected electrical construction organization is adding a senior field leader to help drive complex project execution across the Greater Washington, DC market. This is a high impact opportunity for a hands-on construction professional who knows how to lead crews, keep work moving, and maintain strong standards for safety, quality, and accountability. The right person will play a key role in field coordination, daily execution, and delivering polished installations in demanding environments.

Focus
- Lead field crews in the safe, efficient execution of electrical installation activities
- Plan labor needs and sequence daily and weekly work to maintain progress against project demands
- Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, and work area readiness so crews can stay productive
- Review drawings, submittals, schedules, and field instructions with crews before work begins
- Monitor daily production, labor hours, and installed quantities for assigned areas of responsibility
- Perform routine quality reviews, identify deficiencies, and drive timely correction of issues in the field
- Maintain current redlines and field markups to support accurate record documentation
- Promote strong housekeeping and equipment accountability across assigned crews and work zones
- Support hazard planning, reinforce jobsite safety expectations, and respond appropriately to incidents
- Partner with project and quality leadership to address installation concerns and maintain high standards
Skill Set
- Experience leading electrical crews on commercial, institutional, industrial, or mission critical construction projects
- Strong understanding of field productivity, installation sequencing, and manpower coordination
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and submittal information
- Working knowledge of quality control expectations, inspection readiness, and documentation practices
- Commitment to jobsite safety, crew accountability, and professional workmanship
- Comfortable tracking daily labor, progress, and field changes with consistency and accuracy
- Clear communication skills and the ability to lead by example in a fast-moving construction environment
Preferred Background
- Foreman or general foreman experience in electrical construction
- Experience supporting large scale projects with multiple active work fronts
- Background working closely with QA QC and project leadership teams
