They are hiring a Counter Sales professional who enjoys customer interaction, thrives in a hands-on branch environment, and takes pride in delivering fast, accurate service. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to blend sales support, order coordination, product guidance, and day-to-day branch teamwork in a role that directly impacts customer loyalty and branch performance.

Focus

  • Support walk in customers, process orders, and keep the sales counter moving efficiently
  • Answer product questions, confirm availability and pricing, and recommend related solutions for contractor and trade customers
  • Coordinate closely with warehouse and branch teammates to fulfill pickups, returns, and special requests with accuracy
  • Keep the sales floor, counter area, and nearby inventory organized, stocked, and ready for customer traffic
  • Handle order changes, returns, and documentation carefully while following branch procedures and cash handling standards
  • Spot inventory gaps or service issues early and communicate them to leadership so customer commitments stay on track
  • Contribute to a team first environment by helping with incoming calls, order pulling, and general branch support when needed
  • Maintain a safety minded approach while working around materials, equipment, and active warehouse operations


Skill Set

  • At least 1 year of experience in client interaction, inside sales support, retail/branch operations, or serving construction and trade professionals in a supply environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities with a customer-first mindset and a collaborative team attitude.
  • Comfortable learning product lines, using order entry systems, and navigating a fast-paced trade environment
  • Ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy under pressure
  • Confidence solving customer needs, making recommendations, and supporting repeat business
  • Dependable judgment around procedures, documentation, and day-to-day branch operations
  • Able to lift materials, stay on your feet for much of the day, and work safely in a warehouse linked setting
  • English communication skills, both written and verbal
