Structured Cabling Territory Manager - West

Location: Remote – Must reside on the West Coast

Industry: Structured Cabling, Connectivity, Broadband Infrastructure


A pioneering player in the connectivity and infrastructure space is seeking a proactive, technically-savvy sales professional to lead territory growth across the Western United States. This is a remote role with significant travel throughout the West Coast, aimed at expanding customer relationships and increasing adoption of industry-leading structured cabling solutions. The Structured Cabling Territory Manager – West will be the face of a trusted brand, driving strategic initiatives with contractors, integrators, and telecom service providers.


This opportunity is ideal for a road warrior who thrives on meeting customers where they are, solving complex technical challenges, and influencing purchasing decisions in the field. You’ll play a central role in scaling a product line known for performance, reliability, and real-world results.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the regional expert for structured cabling solutions, building demand through on-site client visits and virtual outreach.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with contractors, distributors, and telecom/broadband providers to drive product adoption.
  • Conduct needs assessments and present custom-fit solutions featuring coaxial, fiber optic, and category cable technologies.
  • Own the full sales cycle including territory planning, lead generation, quoting, closing, and post-sale support.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, logistics, and marketing teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and product positioning.
  • Participate in trade shows, local events, and regional training sessions to represent the brand and expand your network.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and provide sales forecasts, activity reports, and territory insights to management.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B outside sales experience, ideally in structured cabling, low-voltage infrastructure, or telecom hardware.
  • Deep knowledge of structured cabling systems, including coaxial, fiber, Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A, and related technologies.
  • Proven success managing a large geographic territory and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong presentation and relationship-building skills, with a consultative and technical approach to sales.
  • Self-motivated and accountable, with excellent time management and remote work discipline.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the West Coast region.
