We are seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to serve as the senior accounting leader overseeing financial reporting, accounting operations, treasury management, financial controls, and multi-entity consolidations. This role partners closely with executive leadership and is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records while driving process improvements and scalable financial operations.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, corporate accounting, financial analysis, treasury management, and multi-entity environments. Experience with investment accounting, special purpose entities (SPEs), investor reporting, and financial modeling is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month end and quarter end close processes, financial reporting, consolidations, and general ledger management.
• Oversee treasury activities, cash forecasting, banking relationships, and internal controls.
• Manage multi-entity accounting and intercompany reconciliations.
• Develop financial models, forecasts, budgets, and management reporting packages.
• Support investor reporting, capital account management, and financial performance analytics.
• Drive process improvements, reporting automation, and accounting best practices.
• Lead and develop accounting staff while maintaining hands-on involvement in critical accounting functions.
• Partner with executive leadership to provide decision support and financial insights.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• 5+ years leading accounting operations and personnel.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, consolidations, AP, AR, treasury, and general ledger accounting.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience owning a complete financial close process.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical abilities.



Preferred Qualifications

• Active CPA.
• Experience in specialty finance, structured finance, asset-backed lending, investment accounting, or receivables-based environments.
• Background with SPE accounting, investor waterfalls, capital accounts, and portfolio performance reporting.
• Experience with Accounting Seed, Salesforce-integrated accounting platforms, NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar ERP solutions.
• Power BI or related reporting and analytics tools experience.
