Stardom Employment Consultant is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with construction industry experience to join a reputable company in Fresno. This position is ideal for someone who understands high-volume invoice processing and the compliance requirements specific to construction.

Position Overview

The AP Specialist will manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely vendor payments while maintaining organized financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and code vendor invoices accurately
• Match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation
• Prepare and issue vendor payments (checks, ACH, etc.)
• Maintain vendor files and respond to vendor inquiries
• Track lien waivers and subcontractor documentation
• Assist with job costing allocations
• Reconcile AP accounts and support month-end closing

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Construction industry experience required
• Familiarity with lien releases and subcontractor compliance
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
