About the Role
We’re actively recruiting for a respected ag company in Fresno that’s seeking a sharp, detail‑driven Bookkeeper to support daily accounting operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys keeping financial records accurate, staying organized, and playing a key part in ensuring smooth day‑to‑day accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate daily bookkeeping records, including data entry and account updates
- Manage full-cycle AP/AR: vendor invoices, grower payments, statements, and payment posting
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts with precision
- Track production costs, grower contracts, and seasonal expense allocations
- Prepare and organize financial documentation to support month-end close
- Communicate professionally with vendors, growers, and internal departments
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience (ag industry experience highly preferred)
- Strong understanding of AP/AR processes and account reconciliation
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities during busy ag seasons
