We are partnering with an established organization to identify an experienced Accounting Manager to lead their accounting department. This key role will oversee the full month-end close process, manage a high-performing team, and ensure accurate and compliant financial operations. Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and performance oversight.
- Manage the full month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
- Ensure all financial activities comply with GAAP and internal policies.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and strengthen internal controls.
- Support audits and regulatory filings as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in full month-end close processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
