Job Title:        Management Accountant

Location:        London

Hybrid:            3 days in office // 2 days WFH

Salary:             £55,000 - £60,000

Launchpad Recruitment are currently looking to hire a Management Accountant for a fast-growing (double digit growth), subscription-based pet food brand that’s redefining how pet are fed across the UK – with ambitions to go international.

This is a rare opportunity to combine your finance expertise with your love of animals, in a fast-paced, ambitious team that’s redefining an entire industry.

The Role:

You’ll work closely with the Head of Finance in a small, dynamic team, managing the full month end process across multiple P&L’s, and will also be overseeing the transactional accountant’s work.

There is a lot of scope to be involved with ongoing projects such as helping set up a new PO system and continue to drive the automation of processes across the team – all while contributing to the growth of a brand that’s shaking up a £50bn industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Transactional Accountant’s work
• Ownership of month end processes across multiple P&L’s
• Regular analysis & commentary
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare accruals, prepayments, and VAT returns
• Maintain the fixed asset register
• Help implement a new PO system and to automate processes in the future



Desirables:

• Previous experience in E-Commerce / FMCG
• Previous use of Xero system (Shopify and Pleo experience a plus)
• Passionate about pets!
