About the Principal Opportunity

The Principal serves as Brebeuf Jesuit’s chief academic and educational leader, responsible for advancing an exceptional student experience firmly grounded in the school’s Catholic and Jesuit mission. Working in close partnership with the President and the school leadership team, the Principal will provide vision and leadership for academics, faculty development, student formation, and the continued integration of Ignatian spirituality and pedagogy throughout the educational program.

The next Principal will join Brebeuf Jesuit at an important moment of institutional strength and opportunity. Building upon a tradition of academic excellence and Jesuit formation, this leader will engage faculty and staff in continually strengthening the student experience while responding thoughtfully to the evolving needs of young people and the changing landscape of secondary and higher education.

• Jesuit Mission & Ignatian Formation: Authentically embrace and advance Brebeuf Jesuit’s Catholic and Jesuit identity; ensure the school’s mission and Ignatian values are meaningfully integrated throughout academics, student formation, faculty and staff culture, and daily school life.
• Academic Leadership & Excellence: Provide vision and direction for a rigorous, innovative, and student-centered college preparatory program; continually evaluate curriculum, instruction, and academic outcomes while fostering the intellectual curiosity, reflection, and discernment central to Jesuit education.
• Faculty Leadership & Development: Recruit, develop, support, and retain exceptional educators; cultivate a professional culture characterized by collaboration, accountability, continuous growth, Ignatian formation, and a shared commitment to excellence.
