The Hiring Advisors are currently partnering with an incredibly innovative, fast-growing tech platform in the creator and influencer marketing space to find a standout, hands-on Controller to lead their global accounting operations, step up their governance, and champion their transition to PCAOB audit standards.

This is a high-visibility, remote leadership role where you will act as a trusted finance partner to executive leadership while keeping your sleeves rolled up to drive data integrity, cash management, and day-to-day financial rigor.

The Package:

• Compensation: Up to $200,000 base (DOE)
• Location: 100% Remote (US-based)

The Non-Negotiables (Must-Haves):

We are scaling fast, which means we need a specific foundational toolkit. Please only apply if you meet the following baseline requirements:

• B2B Software & ARR Experience: You must have deep, hands-on experience navigating the complexities of SaaS accounting, ARR tracking, and software revenue metrics.
• CPA + Public Accounting Background: An active CPA coupled with a foundation in public accounting (with a strong preference for 5+ years of Big 4 experience) is required.
• Team Leadership: You have successfully managed and developed a high-performing accounting team of 5 or more internal resources, alongside outsourced providers.
• Audit Heavyweight: Proven experience leading audit readiness assessments and preparing an organization for strict PCAOB audit standards.

Nice-to-Haves: If you are a wizard in NetSuite and have experience managing professional services revenue in tandem with SaaS models, you’ll immediately jump to the front of the line!

What You’ll Actually Be Doing:

• Lead the Ledger & Close: Own all core accounting functions (GL, AP, AR, treasury, fixed assets) and lead a timely, GAAP-compliant monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Build Scalable Infrastructure: Design, implement, and maintain the accounting policies, internal controls, and data hygiene required to support the company's next phase of massive growth.
• Drive Operational Finance: Own day-to-day operations within NetSuite, optimizing systems and tools to enforce stringent controls while streamlining workflows.
• Board & Investor Reporting: Partner with the Finance Lead to prepare quarterly Board materials, financial dashboards, and key SaaS KPIs (CAC, cost of sales, departmental spend).
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as a strategic advisor to Operations, Engineering, and executive leadership to provide clarity and sound judgment on complex economic deals.
