Private Equity • Alternative Investments • Fundraising & LP Engagement

Are you energized by the fast pace of private markets and ready to take on a role where storytelling, analytics, and relationship-building meet? Our client, a West LA investment firm, is expanding its Investor Relations team — and we’re looking for a sharp, resourceful IR Associate who thrives at the intersection of data, strategy, and investor engagement.

This is a high-visibility role supporting senior relationship managers and collaborating closely with investment, finance, and operations teams. You’ll play a key part in shaping the investor experience across fundraising, reporting, and ongoing LP communications.

If you’ve supported private equity, private credit, or alternative investment strategies — this opportunity offers deep exposure and meaningful responsibility from day one.

In this role, you’ll help elevate our investor communications and fundraising efforts by:

  • Supporting senior IR leaders with fundraising initiatives and ongoing LP relationship management
  • Developing polished fundraising materials that clearly articulate product strategy and firm value proposition
  • Creating detailed LP-level fund analyses to support transparency and engagement
  • Managing quarterly, annual, and ad hoc investor due diligence requests
  • Maintaining key internal databases across portfolio companies, track records, and investor activity
  • Preparing quarterly reports that combine qualitative firm insights with financial performance data
  • Conducting market research and helping prepare pitch materials for new product launches
  • Assisting with AGM preparation and other major investor events

We’re looking for someone who brings intellectual curiosity, strong communication skills, and a passion for private markets:

  • 1+ years of experience in investor relations, private equity, alternatives, asset management, or investment consulting
  • Experience preparing client or LP reporting packages, fund analyses, or due diligence materials
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements, fund performance, valuations, and cash flows
  • Ability to manage large datasets and work comfortably in Excel with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and visual—for creating presentations and investor materials
  • Highly organized and comfortable juggling multiple projects and deadlines
  • SIE or Series 63/other FINRA exams a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (top academic performance valued)

📍 Location

This is a full-time, on-site position in West LA — ideal for candidates who want to be embedded in a collaborative, high-touch environment supporting institutional and high-net-worth investors.

🚀 Why Join Us?

You’ll work closely with experienced IR leaders, gain exposure to private equity and multi-asset strategies, and contribute directly to how we communicate with and grow our global LP base. This is an opportunity to accelerate your IR career at a firm that values precision, professionalism, and thoughtful execution.
