We’re Hiring: Financial Reporting Manager (CPA | Public Company)

We’re partnering with a fast-growing, publicly traded organization looking to add a Financial Reporting Manager to its finance leadership team. This is a high-visibility role with direct ownership of external reporting and meaningful exposure to senior leadership, auditors, and cross-functional partners.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys technical accounting, process improvement, and operating in a dynamic public company environment.

🔎 What You’ll Own

• End-to-end preparation and filing of SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K)
• Drafting and reviewing financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A
• Revenue accounting oversight, including ASC 606 contract review and revenue memos
• Partnering cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, Legal, and Investor Relations
• Managing external auditor relationships and quarterly/annual reviews
• Supporting SOX compliance, internal controls, and reporting governance
• Driving process improvements and automation across financial reporting
• Monitoring new accounting standards and SEC rule changes
• Coaching and mentoring team members on reporting and technical accounting

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• CPA required (active)
• 6+ years of experience in public accounting and/or public company reporting
• Big 4 experience strongly preferred
• Deep experience with SEC reporting and public company filings
• Strong technical accounting background (ASC 606 required)
• Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
• Experience with Workiva and strong Excel skills
• Clear, confident communicator who can work across all levels of the organization
