If you're in the Fresno area and have experience supporting agriculture or food & beverage operations, this is an opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role with a long-standing, diverse organization deeply rooted in the Central Valley.

We’re looking for a Tax Director to lead our entire tax function across multiple corporations, LLCs, partnerships, and individual ownership interests. You'll oversee everything from compliance to long-term planning—while mentoring a small in-house team and collaborating directly with executives.

🌟 What You’ll Do

• Lead all tax functions across farming, packing, manufacturing, and real estate entities
• Oversee and review federal & state returns (corporate, partnership, LLC, individual)
• Develop strategic tax planning initiatives that support long-term business goals
• Provide estate & succession planning guidance to owners
• Improve processes through modern tax & accounting technologies
• Ensure full compliance with all tax laws and deadlines
• Evaluate and communicate impacts of changing tax regulations
• Support transactions including restructurings, acquisitions, and real estate development
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors and auditors
• Lead, mentor, and develop tax staff
• Partner with finance, legal, and operations teams
• Support the CFO with tax provision and financial reporting (FAS 109)

✔️ What We’re Looking For

• CPA required
• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study
• Master’s in Tax is a plus
• 7+ years of progressive tax experience, including 2+ years at the manager level
• Strong foundation in entity-level and individual tax compliance & planning
• Experience with both cash and accrual taxpayers
• Solid understanding of FAS 109
• Background in the Food & Beverage Manufacturing, Agriculture, or real estate industry
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

💵 Compensation

Up to $225k | On-site in the Fresno area
