We'rr Hiring: Strategic Finance Associate (Deep Tech / AI Hardware Leader)

📍 Location: Hawthorne, CA (On-site Daily, 5 Days/Week)

💰 Compensation: $110,000 – $135,000 Base + Equity Package + 100% Paid Benefits + Catered Meals

The Hiring Advisors is currently partnering with an industry-defining AI-native deep tech & advanced manufacturing pioneer to find a high-caliber Strategic Finance Associate.

Operating at the heart of LA's deep tech ecosystem in Hawthorne, this team is building world-changing technology. In this seat, you will work directly alongside senior leadership, owning the core financial models, M&A/joint venture evaluations, pricing strategies, and long-range capital allocation frameworks that drive executive decision-making.

What You’ll Own

• 3-Statement & Long-Range Modeling: Own the company’s fully integrated 3-statement financial model, rolling forecasts, and 3–5 year strategic plans.
• M&A & Deal Modeling: Lead financial modeling for M&A opportunities, target valuations (DCF/LBO), accretive/dilutive analysis, and strategic partnerships.
• Commercial & Unit Economics: Build product-level pricing models, contribution margin analysis, and scenario sensitivities to support sales and go-to-market decisions.
• Board & Executive Reporting: Translate monthly actuals vs. budget variances into executive commentary and investor deck materials for Board and growth equity stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Partnering: Embed financial rigor into Operations, Sales, and Engineering decisions.

What We’re Looking For

• Background: 2+ years in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Strategic Finance at a high-growth operating company.
• Modeling Mastery: Advanced financial modeling skills (3-statement, DCF/LBO, complex Excel architecture).
• Location & On-Site Presence: Ability to work 100% on-site daily in Hawthorne, CA alongside tech development and production teams.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Bonus Points: Experience in hardware, deep tech, manufacturing, or portfolio-level PE environments.
